our mission
Our mission is to provide on-line support to survivors of stroke, carers and their familes. We also want to educate you about stroke and to provide you with as much resources and other types of information and encouragement as we possibly can, and to provide a platform for stroke patients to share their experiences and communicate with.
We want to bring support to the stroke survivors and other members of the stroke family that want to use the Internet as a lifeline, bringing a support group right into your home.
We are aware that not everyone has the luxury of having a Stroke or Carers Support Group close to them, or at a time that is convenient nor does everyone have the transport to travel when they want.
Our hope is that we can provide on-line support to the stroke survivor and their familes and help them transition from a life of being able-bodied to one of living with the disabilities that stroke can cause.
